|Welcome to the Cabinet Makers and Designers Association. Our members are designers, cabinet makers and installers of all forms of cabinetry for the built environment including kitchens, bathrooms, built-in and free-standing furniture in both residential and commercial developments.
The Cabinet Makers and Designers Association was formed to represent the interests of businesses throughout Australia involved in the design and manufacture of cabinetry and to assist them with improving their business practices and expertise.
CMDA conducts a national awards program and other activities to assist the industry in gaining recognition and support for their businesses by way of marketing opportunities and professional development.
Our predecessor the CMA
The CMA was established in 1984 to promote, communicate and maintain principles in our industry. In doing so we also improve value for customers by keeping our members up to date with the latest in regulations, resources and best practice in the cabinet making industry.
Our extensive membership base covers the whole range of cabinet making, including commercial and domestic fit-outs or renovations, as well as most suppliers to the industry.
